1 point in Crit Shot give you a small and usefull boost. Critical Shot: There are very few skills that actually increase damage.High level chars I see have at least 15 points in BAE, most have 25. But during midgame the amount of damage will become insane and without this skill you will probably become a one shot. Body Armor Expert: At start the armor value are too low to make a % increase useful.

I recommend: About 6-8 points (not more then 20% reload bonus) should allow u to hit the cap of 80% reduction. You will get several boni (up to 60%) during the game, so some points are useful, too many are going to be wasted. So hitting them constantly is important to keep them away.

The Infected simply deal too much damage to compensate with armor. Fast Movement: SAS4 is mostly about running and dodging.TL DR All classes are viable and have their strengths. But still high level Assaults win speed and damage contests all day long. Assault is clearly the most aggressive option, though only a very few that I have met are good enough to actually be able to go for a pure glass cannon build. Adrenaline can give u a awesome boost for a short time. Heavies have access to Hold the Line which increases their damage output significantly, but they have to stand still for this skill to work, so its rather a late game option when u have achieved some real tankiness.Īssault has some additional damage and speed options. If u like playing a tank, go for Heavy, though be aware that the real tankiness only comes really late and with elite equipment. Tough Body gives additional damage reduction, while Die Another Day allows u to shrug off most damage for a short time. Heavy offers some more protection options. But imo medic is a good starter class as those damage optimizations are rather late game options. These great utility options come at a cost: the medic has no additional damage skill. Bioclense Bomb offers a nice slow and reduction of resistances and becomes useful at later levels. Medkit makes longer games easier and allows more mistakes, as u can heal back the damage. Medkit can heal urself and ur team is the signature skill of the medic. So there is no best class, it depends on your personal preferences. All classes have the same basic skills, pretty much the same HP (1800-2200) and Move Speed. Imo the classes are pretty well balanced for what they should do. Though on the other side, afaik the game wont change a lot, cause dev has moved to other projects. Special thanks to SunJiaCheng for bumping and adding some more infos about crafting.Įdit September 2016: I mostly quit playing so maybe this guide might become a bit outdated. Special thanks to DatPr0 for giving well explained feedback, helping me to improve this guide.Įdit November 2015: Added some infos about my opinion to crafting. I hope to be of some help for new players…have fun reading. Plz don’t see this guide as an absolute “Must do” but as my personal experience what works well. Some people might disagree or have different builds. But as Im playing for quite some time, I feel that I have a decent understanding of the game and checked and talked to some really good players in this game. So I have some personal experience with all classes, but not until end game. Im consider myself as having decent skills. As im more of a casual gamer my best char (Medic) is only Level 65 and my other Chars are around Lvl 30. I had a large break and just recently picked up the game again. I play SAS4 for ages, probably since the first days. This guide will try to give u a hint how things can be done. What is a good build for medic/heavy or assault Most of the time if someone starts i read the same questions:
